Chronicles of France according to what they are made up in the Saint-Denis church in France, Paris, about 1370.
Department of the Manuscripts, Fr. 10135 Parchment
Fact probably for Charles V, about 1370, this manuscript contains the Chronicles of France, written in French with the abbey of Saint-Denis, until the death of Philippe VI of Valois (1350). It is a French history to religious tendency and baroniale. The manuscript opens on a painting recalling in four quadrilobate compartments the legend of the Trojan origin of the Franks: unloading of the Greeks in Minor Asia, attacks of Troy, foundation of Sycambria by Francion, victory of the king of the Franks over the emperor of Alains.
